The Qbox

The Qbox is a toolbox of available cues. Each QLab Plugin that was loaded at startup is represented by a row in the Qbox. You can think of the Qbox as a cue factory: it is used to create each new cue in your workspace. You may create new cues in one of four ways:

• Dragging the cue from the Qbox to your workspace.
• Double clicking the row of the cue you want.
• Selecting the row of the cue you want, and pressing return on the keyboard.
• If the cue is in the first ten rows of the Qbox, you can use the displayed command-key shortcut to create it.

You may rearrange the Qbox by dragging the rows to new positions. This allows you to change the command-key shortcut assigned to each cue.

For example, if you wish to use Command-1 for Sound Cues, simply drag the Sound Cue to the first row of the Qbox.
