The Target Cue can be used to assign a new target to other cues. Currently, only Goto Cues will accept a new target.
A Pro Control License is required to reactivate Target Cues that have been saved to disk.
The Assigned Target is a cue number. The target cue will get this cue number as its new target number.
Note that you can only enter a cue number that currently exists. You cannot enter a cue number that is not yet associated with any cue.
When a Target Cue is fired, the newly assigned target will show up in the workspace in blue. This indicates that this is a temporary target. When the cue with the temporary target is reset, it will regain its original target.
A typical use for the Target Cue is to use it in conjunction with a Goto Cue for vamping music. The Goto Cue would initially be set to direct the playback position back to the top of the vamped sound. A Target Cue could then be used to redirect the playback position onward after the end of a vamp.
